In September, 26 gay and queer-identifying faculty signed an Op Ed, published by the Daily Northwestern, in response to Northwestern’s initial message that deflected the potential impact of Monkeypox on campus. Then, a month after the first email, Northwestern sent out a revised version that took into account faculty’s concerns. Professor Chad Horne, who drafted the Op Ed, spoke with Justine Fisher about Northwestern’s response to the virus.
