The MCU turns back time (again), a major celebrity detainment and a promising week for football fans. Vidyuth Sridhar has it all on this week’s B-List.
Welcome to The B-List, your weekly roundup of celebrity mess and pop culture. This week: a Marvel encore, a not-so-romantic homicide case and an annual football tradition.

Marvel 2019 smash-hit “Avengers: Endgame” will be re-released, according to the film’s co-director Joe Russo. The movie, which grossed $2.7 billion worldwide in its first release, will now feature new footage linked to “Avengers: Doomsday”, which is slated to drop this December.
Famed musician David Anthony Burke, better known as “D4vd”, was arrested last Thursday in Los Angeles. As of Sunday, April 19, the singer is being held without bail after Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a 14-year-old girl, was found dead and decomposing in the back of his Tesla last year. According to police, his case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office today.
Lastly, the NFL Draft will kick off this Thursday. Notably, as of Sunday, April 19, six teams now hold multiple picks in the first round, and six teams possess none. Heisman-trophy winner Fernando Mendoza, who played quarterback for Indiana University last season, is expected to be drafted first overall.
That’s all for the B-List this week. Check in next Monday to hear about what happens this week in pop culture. For WNUR News, I’m Vidyuth Sridhar.
