Celebrities flocked to the red carpet at the Golden Globes last night. Winners included Noah Wyle for best performance by a male actor in a television series for his role in The Pitt and Owen Cooper for best performance by a male actor in a supporting role on Televion in his role as Jamie in Adolesence. Cooper made history last year as the youngest male actor to win an Emmy for the same role at only 15 years old.

In Music, Country star Zach Bryan released a new album this week. Heaven on Top includes songs that reference his ex-girlfriend, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia (la palia), and new wife, Samantha Leonard Bryan, as well as his journey with sobriety. This album comes after a year of controversy over accusations of emotional abuse in his relationship with LaPaglia, he has not publicly addressed these accusations but seems to reference them in the album.

In Movies, Disney announced its leads for the live action Tangled. Rapunzel will be played by Teagan Croft. Croft has experience on stage and screen, and had her first breakout role as Rachel Roth on the DC Universe series Titans. Disney regular Milo Manheim will play Flynn Rider. He is best known for his role as Zed in Disney’s Zombies and for his stint on Dancing with the Stars.

In Sports, Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams revealed that closeted professional athletes in the NFL, NHL, and NBA have anonymously reached out to him and author of the adapted book, Rachel Reid, to share their stories. This revelation displays the impact and popularity of the hit show.
