WELCOME TO THE B-LIST, YOUR WEEKLY ROUNDUP OF CELEBRITY MESS AND POP CULTURE. THIS WEEK: celebs gear up for Halloween, an end to the Eras, Donald Trump and claymation, and the World Series.

With Halloween in just three days, celebrities are getting into the spooky spirit. Over the weekend, Billie Eilish threw a star-studded Halloween bash, with notable attendees Malia and Sasha Obama photographed at the venue. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco showed off their fairytale couple costumes as Alice and the Mad Hatter, from Alice in Wonderland. Adding to the dress-up shenanigans, Timothée Chalamet made a surprise appearance at his own lookalike contest in New York, sending a mass of slender pale doppelgangers into a frenzy to identify the real among them.

Meanwhile, in the music industry, Taylor Swift kicked off the second North American, and final overall, leg of The Eras Tour, in what one could call the beginning of the end of The Eras. Her return to the States with the Oct. 18 Miami show follows a two-month tour hiatus after the most recent leg in Europe.

This past Friday, a presidential candidate appeared on something bigger than just our Twitter feeds and the news. In a new documentary called, “The Man You Don’t Know,” director Christopher Martini set out to portray Trump as “a scholar, successful entrepreneur, man of faith, and devoted family man.” On a less political note, however, the beloved British claymation series, “Wallace & Gromit,” is back! With the last “Wallace & Gromit” movie released in 2008, fans can expect a grand return of the beloved characters with the new movie “Vengeance Most Fowl” coming to Netflix on Jan. 3, 2025.

Tonight, the iconic World Series matchup between the LA Dodgers and the New York Yankees will be the third out of seven games in the championship. Currently, the Dodgers have a 2-0 lead, giving them an advantage in the first-to-four series, but their success has come at the cost of star player Shohei Ohtani, who suffered a shoulder injury in the last game. Ohtani plans to play tonight despite his injury.
