A University of Wisconsin-Madison fan who made anti-Asian gestures at Northwestern students during a men’s basketball game at Welsh-Ryan Arena Tuesday has now been banned from athletic events at both universities. Two videos of the incident have gone viral, one from a Northwestern alumna’s perspective and one from a Northwestern student’s perspective.
